Broadband Light (BBL) is the gold standard for treating various skin conditions associated with aging, sun damage, rosacea, acne, broken capillaries, and loss of firmness. The Sciton® BBL® is one of the most powerful and effective ways to reverse dull, wrinkled, and blemished skin and restore a youthful glow.
BBL therapy, often referred to as a Photofacial or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, addresses many symptoms associated with skin aging and sun damage. After your face is cleansed, a topical numbing cream will be applied. Before treatment begins, your eyes will be covered with safety shields. Then the cutting-edge laser will flash high-intensity light into the upper layers of your skin to stimulate the synthesis of new collagen and more. Expect the entire process to last 30–60 minutes. 3–4 treatments may be needed to achieve desired results.

How should I prepare for my treatment?
You should AVOID sun exposure, tanning beds, and spray tans 14 days before treatment. You should also AVOID retinoids, topical exfoliants, and other aesthetic treatments 14 days before your treatment.
When should I schedule my treatment?
This is the perfect treatment to be combined with BOTOX® in the same visit for a one-stop shopping experience.
How long is recovery?
Depending on the areas treated, most patients experience noticeable improvements in tone, texture, and color in 1–3 days. During this period, you should avoid all sun exposure as ultraviolet rays can disrupt recovery. You may be given topical skincare products to use during the first few days following treatment.
